Return Policy – The Market by Midwest Prime

At The Market by Midwest Prime, we take pride in offering high-quality, thoughtfully sourced products from our farm and other local makers. Because many of our items are perishable, our return policy is a little different than a traditional retail store.

Perishable Items (Food & Refrigerated Products)

Due to food safety standards, all perishable items are final sale once they leave the store.
This includes meat, dairy, baked goods, prepared foods, pantry items, and any refrigerated or frozen items.

We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on these products once they have left our store.

That said, if something isn’t right, we want to know. If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or not up to our standards, please reach out to us within 7 days of purchase. We’re happy to offer a replacement or store credit when appropriate.


Non-Perishable Items (Retail Goods)

We accept returns on non-perishable items such as clothing, candles, and gift items under the following conditions:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition
  • All tags and packaging must be intact
  • Return must be made within 7 days of purchase
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required

All approved returns will be issued as store credit.


Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return:

  • All perishable goods
  • Clearance or sale items
  • Seasonal or holiday items
